Jaymee Ong was born and raised in Australia, at the age of 15, Jaymee caught the attention of a famous Australian photographer at a hair salon. She soon began her modelling career that launched her as a top Asian face in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. She was later spotted by Jackie Chan who signed her on to Media Asia in Hong Kong where she began her film career.

When she landed a cameo in the big-budget international movie, Pearl Harbor, Jaymee shifted her acting career to Hollywood. There, she scored many guest appearances in leading US TV series such as Las Vegas and Entourage, and she also starred in a couple of Hollywood movies.
