Torso: Upper Chest & Stomach

Back: Upper Back, Lower Back & Full Back

Arms: Hands to Elbow Crease.

Legs: Thighs, Calves, Feet

The colors for all these different sections cannot be different. They will all be the same color you choose the body hair to be.

Town/Lots

Although not yet confirmed, there is mention from the Sims 3 Pets Promo Page under the News Tab about a new world.

Each platform brings a new world for players to explore from the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions where players will unlock achievements by solving mysteries around town, the Nintendo 3DS with new lots to unlock to the PC/Mac version where they’ll be able to take their pets on play dates or meet other Sims at the dog park, cat jungles and even a horse ranch.

Now a “new world” can be interpreted in different ways, one being the game brings “a whole new light” for players (as far as interactions & gameplay go) or indeed a new neighborhood. I’m hoping for the latter!

There is also mention from the Exclusive content that we will be able to change the look and feel of our town with the new Lot.

Players will be able to create their own Pet Shops as well.

Give your Sims and their pets an exclusive pet store venue or create your own custom pet store by placing a pet store register on a community lot and building as you like.

The Sims 3 Unleashed Interview with Ben Bell

The new expansion pack brings certain four legged creatures into The Sims 3 world. The expansion pack producer explains, what we can do with dogs, cats and other animals.

In The Sims world, everything is possible. Why didn’t the beloved animals get their needed attention is unknown. But The Sims 3 Pets will correct this mistake and place the player in a role of the furry creature. Every pet owner will tell you, that living with cat or a dog is nice, but Ben Bell now explains more about controlling your cats and dogs.

COMPUTER BILD SPIELE (CBS): How did you get the idea for the new Sims exp. pack? What role do the players have in this? Do you perform tests or have test audiences, or do you come up with ideas internally?

Ben Bell (BB): We always do what our fans want and we try to enable them to experience new things in our game. The idea for The Sims 3 Pets was simple. We love pets in the Sims Studio and we often talk about our pets, so it makes sense that we will enable our Sims to play with the four legged creatures, just like us.

CBS: Tell us more about the game. What can the fans expect?

BB: For the first time in the history of The Sims series, player can take control over your pet and live his story. We always want to know, what Fido or Fluffy think, when we come home late from work or when we take them on a walk around the park. The game enables us to do that and the pets also have traits, so that players can create their own, perfect pet – just like their Sims.

CBS: Will the game enable controls with speech or movement?

EA CEO: EA will soon become all digital

Electronic Arts is aware that the future of gaming lies in digital content and wants to eventually move away from physical discs. In fact, EA CEO John Riccitiello is planning to completely convert the gaming giant.

“Over the coming years, we will transform EA from a packaged goods company, to a fully integrated Digital entertainment company,” Riccitiello said in an earnings call yesterday, according to a transcript posted on investment news site Seeking Alpha. “We’re transforming EA to a games as a service model by focusing on three new strategies.”
